Achieve more together

Networks promote the exchange of knowledge and consequently have a positive effect on the success of the company. For this reason Axel Springer AG has developed various networks:

Axel Springer employees foster the mutual exchange of knowledge and ideas.

Network Circle for Junior Executive and Qualified Employees

The Junior Executive and Qualified Employees of the central divisions regularly meet the company managers, in order to get to know the Executive Board divisions better. In the sense of networking as well as the exchange of knowledge and ideas, case studies are worked through in these meetings, or managers give lectures on topical issues from their sectors. In addition workshops are held on topics such as corporate culture or teambuilding for example.

Exchange of experience for Women in Specialist and Management Positions

These in-house networks are linked to the Equal Opportunities Working Group and encourage members to get to know each other as well as promoting communication across sectors. Thus you can make new contacts, network and profit from the knowledge of your female colleagues when confronted with specialist challenges. For this, Human Resources Development organizes regular meetings, in which women in specialist and management positions exchange tips and inform each other about their work.

Cross-sector Network for Secretaries and Assistants

These internal networks are made up of a circle of assistants, secretaries and employees who work in the commercial-administrative sector. Due to the participants’ different experiences of life and work, the network forms an interesting forum for exchange on vocational questions and challenges. At their regular meetings the participants receive information first-hand as well as an insight into their colleagues’ areas of responsibility.

Trainee and Scholarship holders Networks

An important part of the Trainee and Scholarship holder Programs are these regular events, which give participants the opportunity to strengthen and develop the contact with each other and to other junior executives. At the same time joint projects are worked on and presented to a panel upon completion.
