Axel Springer Media Accounting Service GmbH (ASMAS) is a 100% subsidiary of Axel Springer AG, located in Berlin.

ASMAS manages the external accounting for more than 80 national companies within Axel Springer group. We conduct our work in accordance with both HGB (German Local Gaap) and IFRS and fulfill all requirements for group consolidation purposes. We provide our services for companies in different sectors, of different types and of different scales.

ASMAS implements best practice procedures in accounting in addition to the traditional activities of a financial shared service center. This includes demonstrating the benefits brought by process standardisation or harmonisation, the concepts and continuous optimisation of electronic workflow systems (STP), self-service reporting and data analysis tools for the benefit of our clients and the group.

Our clients benefit from an efficient organisational structure and the solid experience of the management and accounting team. We are the first point of contact in case of any questions regarding accounting matters; we support group projects and work closely together with the various departments of Axel Springer.
