Commitment of Our Readers

"Berlin Heroes" liberate Alexanderplatz from trash left lying around: B.Z. readers join forces for their city. The B.Z. campaign "Berlin Heroes" is addressed to people who want to tackle problems. Who want to voluntarily commit themselves to doing something for their fellow human beings, nature, cleanliness or the environment. Directly in their neighborhood or elsewhere in their city.

In the right menu bar we present, alongside the "Berlin Heroes", other programs demonstrating the social commitment of our readers. Examples of these include: the BILD campaign "Ein Herz für Kinder" ("A Heart for Children"), and the initiatives "Berliner helfen e.V." ("Berliners help") from the BERLINER MORGENPOST and “Von Mensch zu Mensch” ("From Person to Person") from the HAMBURGER ABENDBLATT, which owe their success to hundreds of donors.
