Commitment of our media

In August 2009, BILD editor-in-chief Kai Diekmann presented the blueprints of the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (left). These are the only original documents of this kind to have been discovered in Germany as yet. BILD found the blueprints in late summer 2008. These are now accessible to researchers and visitors in the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem.

In the right menu bar further examples of the social commitment of our media are presented – from the BILD der FRAU playground study to the FAKT project "Zielone podwórka" for the greening of courtyards in Poland, the engagement of the HAMBURGER ABENDBLATT for integration and the "BILD fights for you!" campaign.
