Printing competence in the North of Germany
In the Hamburg-Ahrensburg offset printing works, which has been in operation since 1983, Axel Springer newspapers for the North German region are produced as are titles from other publishers as a subcontractor.
As a result of technical reinvestment programs carried out in recent years, Ahrensburg is today the most modern Axel Springer offset printing works. As the first printing plant in Europe to be validated according to the European ecological audit, the offset printing works has received numerous prizes for its environmental engagement.
