Bonial.com Group Acquires Majority Share in Spanish Location-based Advertising Service

International group now holds a share of 64 percent in the Spanish market leader for mobile, location-based advertising / Additional growth capital promotes expansion in Spain and Latin America

The Bonial.com Group belonging to Axel Springer SE is increasing its share in Ofertia, the leading mobile offer for location-based circular advertising and high street retail in Spain, headquartered in Barcelona. With this investment Bonial.com Group now holds a majority share of 64 percent in Ofertia. The founders and current shareholders Thomas Roggendorf and Jaume Betrián will hold the remaining 36 percent and will also be in charge of operational management of the company in future.

Ofertia is also represented on the Latin American market alongside Spain and has already expanded its product range to Colombia, Chile and Mexico. Additional growth capital is to further accelerate the expansion of the company in Spain and Latin America.
