Veselin Simonović appointed Editorial Director Blic / Marko Stjepanovic becomes Editor-in-Chief Blic

With effect from January 15, 2015 Veselin Simonović (56) becomes Editorial Director of Blic, the leading daily tabloid and online news platform in Serbia, owned by the Ringier Axel Springer subsidiary. Marko Stjepanovic (40) succeeds Simonović and becomes the new Editor-in-Chief of Blic.

In his new function Veselin Simonović will be responsible for the further development of Blic's editorial formats and overall content strategy. He will also serve as mentor to the team of young Blic editors. Veselin Simonović joined Blic 17 years ago and became Editor-in-Chief in 1998. He was responsible for the integrated newsroom since 2010.

Marko Stjepanovic joined Blic in 1998 and started initially to work as Editor-in-Chief of the newsroom of the daily "24 sata”. For many years he was Editor-in-Chief of the Blic Sunday edition. In October 2010 he was appointed deputy Editor-in-Chief of the integrated newsroom and Editor-in-Chief of Blic online.
